Abstract
Dr Baba N. Yaaba is an Assistant Director and Head of the Monetary Analysis Office in the Research Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He is a seasoned data scientist and an expert in macroeconomic policy design and analysis. His research interests span a range of areas, including monetary economics, fiscal and monetary policy, international economics, and regional economic integration and trade. He is an active member of several professional bodies, including the World Economics Association, the African Political Economy Association, the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), and the Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA). He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and has presented research papers at both national and international conferences, including the World Statistics Congress, the World Economic Forum, and the Conference on Regional Integration in Africa.
